Make a difference with your pocket change! Next week we are kicking off our first HOBY Washington Change Challenge.
Monday, January 17 – Sunday, January 23 we want your pocket change!
If each of our 338 alumni from 2008-2010 were to donate $0.50, that would be $169. If each of those 338 alumni then asked 5 others to donate the same amount we would raise $845 in just one week. Imagine what $1.00 or more from each person could do.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to collect pocket change. We have split the state into regions, H, O, B and Y and the winning region (the region that collects the most money) will be recognized at the 2011 seminar.
Region H – Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, San Juan, Island, Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish and King Counties
Region O – Grays Harbor, Mason, Pacific, Wahkiakum, Thurston, Lewis, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania and Pierce Counties
Region B – Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Yakima and Klickitat Counties
Region Y – Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln, Spokane, Adams, Whitman, Franklin, Benton, Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield and Asotin Counties
Once you have collected your change send an email to lsc@hobywa.org with the amount, region, date and time of your donation so we can be sure to credit the right region then ask your parents to take the change and do one of the following two things:
- Write a check for the amount that you collected and send it to:

2. Donate via HOBY Washington’s PayPal using a credit card.
